WMI designs, fabricates and erects our own met masts whether it be tubular, guyed lattice masts or self supporting lattice towers. All designed in accordance with British Standard EN 61400-12-1:2006. Masts are available with lightning protection options and either galvanised or stainless steel guy wires. Smaller masts are anchored with simple to install drive-in anchors, whilst larger masts use either dig-in dead-man anchors or rock pinning.

All our masts are supplied with aluminium or stainless steel booms to meet instument to mast separations greater than 9 mast diameters, to minimise the effects of mast wind shadow.
